Dean E. Grosshans, 77, Fairbury died at 9:16 am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at East Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury with the ministers of the German Apostolic Christian Church officiating.

Mr. Grosshans was born February 25, 1935 in Fairbury, IL the son of Fred and Viola Hanni Grosshans.

Surviving is one brother; David (Barbara) Grosshans, three sisters; Ruth Grosshans, Violet (Dale) Ifft, and Edna Grosshans, all of Fairbury.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Robert and one sister, Mary.

Mr. Grosshans served in the United States Army having been honorably discharged on October 31, 1963.
