Chenoa – Herbert Wiles, 85, of Chenoa, passed away at 12:25am, February 8, 2013 at Asta Care Center of Pontiac.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Chenoa Township Cemetery, where military honors will be performed.

Visitation will be held from 10-10:45am on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Program.

He was born January 23, 1928 in Weston the son of Herbert and Frieda Vepox Wiles.

Surviving are his son, Wesley Wiles of Pontiac; two daugthers, Deborah Cox of Knoxville, TN and Donna (Jim) Bagby of Chenoa; six grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild; brother, Gene (Betty) Wiles of Pontiac and sister, Mae (Jerry) Meyer of Flanagan.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He was a Veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of the VFW in Bloomington.

Herbert retired from Eureka Williams.
