Adeline L. Kaeb, 85, Fairbury, died at 7:50 am Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her residence in Fairbury.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the Avoca Township Cemetery, rural Fairbury.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Saturday at the church. The family suggests memorials be given to Vitas Hospice, Peoria or Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Mrs. Kaeb was born June 20, 1927 in Sabetha, KS the daughter of John and Mary Bauman Edelman. She married John Jacob Kaeb on January 23, 1948 in Sabetha, KS. He died on December 26, 2002.
Surviving are six daughters: Jean (Harlan) Knapp, Chenoa; Marlene (Loren) Dettwyler, Silverton, OR; Susie (Alvin) Knapp, Becky (Lynn) Schaffer, both of Fairbury; Lori (Jeff) Morrison, Hudson; Julie (Tim) Ifft, Piper City; five sons: Steven (Bonnie) Kaeb, Paxton; Morris Kaeb, Fairbury; Merlin (Ida Lou) Kaeb, William (Juanita) Kaeb, both of Arrowsmith; Gary (Paula) Kaeb, Stayton, OR; one son-in-law: Russ Leman, Roanoke; two sisters: Mary Edelman, Sabetha, KS; Fanny Menold, Whittier, CA; ninety two grandchildren and thirty eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one daughter: Joan Leman: a son and daughter-in-law: Eldon and Stephanie Kaeb; two grandsons: Nathan Kaeb and Kenton Schaffer; seven brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Kaeb was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church of Forrest.
