Fairbury – Aldine Wackerle, 97 of Fairbury, passed away at 5:40pm on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.

Funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest. Ministers of the church will be officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45am on Thursday at the Church.

Burial will be in South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury

Aldine was born March 10, 1913 in Fairbury the daughter of Edward and Anna Peter Wenger.
She married Matthew Wackerle on April 6, 1952 in Forrest. He died in 1961.
Surviving are three step-children, Sam (Lorraine) Wackerle, Matthew (Gloria) Wackerle, Jr, and Verena (James) Densmore all of Michigan; three sisters, Laura Wenger of Fairbury, Wilma Fischer of Roanoke, and Edna Wiegand of Forrest; six nieces and eight nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three step-sons, three step-daughters, and three brothers.

Aldine was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Forrest.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Nursing Home or the Donor's Choice of Charity.
