Alex Theodore Pierce, age 77, of , Colfax, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at home.
He was born on March 18, 1938 in Cumberland County, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Dora Pierce.
Alex was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Pierce.
He is survived by his brothers Paul Pierce Sr. and Ronald Pierce, children Bonnie Jeanne (Pierce) McDonald, husband Dennis McDonald, Vanessa Pierce, Bryan Pierce, and Shannon (Pierce) Roark, husband Dana Roark, grandchildren David Pierce, Kimberly (Pierce) Epps, husband James Epps Jr.,Delante Pierce, James W. Epps Jr, HAAKIM Brown-Bey, Chemiel Pierce, Leon Jones, Angel Forte, Devonte Pierce, William Roark, and Alison Roark, and great-grandchildren Bryana Epps, Daja Warren, James W. Epps III, Delissia Jefferson, Joshua Epps, HAAKIM Brown-Bey II, Kamari Brown, Eugene Rodgers, Zyonna Dickinson, Jamari Byrams, and Zaniah Byrams.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
Cremation has been accorded. Friends and family may greet the family from 10:30-11:30am on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Colfax, Illinois.
