Lexington: Alice M. Miller, 79, of Lexington, also of Sun City, AZ died at 12:46 pm Monday, September 4, 2006 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL with her loving family by her side.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Meadows Mennonite Church, with Rev. John Heyerly officiating. There will be no visitation, Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Miller was born December 5, 1926 at Meadows, IL. The daughter of Samuel and Martha Amelia (Lehman) Schrock. She married Vernon Miller, May 1, 1948 at Meadows, IL. He Survives in Lexington.

Surviving are 1daughter: Beverly (the late William) Olson, Bloomington, 1 son; Jack (Jacqui) Miller, Lexington.

Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Jamie (Jimmy) Stitt, Lewisburg, TN, Nathan (Jessica) Miller, Schaumburg, IL, Kristin, Dyllan, Zachary & Cole Miller all of Lexington, One sister; Martha (Donald) Smith, Fairbury.

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mrs. Miller was a 1944 graduate of Chenoa Community H.S. and a life-long member of Meadows Mennonite Church. She was office manager of Cargill Seeds in Lexington for 25 years. Her love in life was her children and grandchildren. Her passions included music, quilting & painting. She served many years as a 4-H leader in Lexington. She also enjoyed spending the past 15 winters in Arizona.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Lexington Ambulance Association or Meadows Mennonite Church, Meadows.
