Chenoa – Alice Elizabeth Stork, 81, of Chenoa, passed away at 8:45am, November 2, 2019, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest. Ministers of the church will be officiating.
Burial will be in South Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 pm, Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45 am, Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Livingston County Ambulance Service.
Alice was born January 24, 1938, in Sabetha, KS, the daughter of Levi and Lena Lehman Edelman, Sr. She married Harvey Victor Stork on July 30, 1961. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Harvey Alan Stork of Pontiac, Rita (Chris) Meiss of Fairbury, Rhonda (Patrick) Todd of Elgin, SC, and Harold "Shorty" (Rose) Stork of Chenoa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Mary) Edelman, Walter (Rosetta) Edelman both of Fairbury, and Albert (Mara Jean) Edelman of Lebo, KS; and sisters, Kathryn (Glenn) Fehr of Fairbury, Ella Marie Edelman and Rosalie Edelman both of Scottsdale, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.
Alice enjoyed gardening. She had a Christian faith and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
