Cropsey – Armida "Midge" Yvette Smith, 85, of Cropsey, passed away March 9, 2010 at 4:55AM at her residence.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Springvale, Maine.
Midge was born August 18, 1924 in Springvale, Maine the daughter of Armand and Agnes Dwyer Ducharme. They preceded her in death.
She married Charles Smith, Jr. on October 6, 1945 in Springvale, Maine. He died December 23, 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Dale (Kearney) Mason of Hadley, NY and Paula A. (Edward) Ward of Cropsey; sister, Gloria (Tom) Belliveau of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Tanya (Steven) Kemnetz, Heather Kemnetz, Michael (Jennifer) Kenney and Zachary Smith; four great-grandchildren, Morganne Kenney, Matthew Kemnetz, Mackenzie and Michael Kemnetz; several nieces and nephews; and special caretakers, Amanda Fredette and Peggy Garrels.
One brother and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Midge was a registered nurse.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Memorials may be made to the family.
