Andres Martinez Jr., 67, of Bloomington passed away at 5:19 pm, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Advocate Bromenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa; with Father Carl LoPesti officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa.

Andres was born July 5, 1948 in Corpus Christi, TX; the son of Andres and Maria (Garcia) Martinez Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Martinez of Bloomington; his children, Annette Arnold of Normal; Juan M. Martinez of Pontiac; Patricia (Brian) Grant of Pontiac; Andres (Dawn) Martinez III of Normal; his siblings, Matias Martinez of Pontiac; Roy Martinez of Texas; Guillermo of Nebraska; Norma Masching of Pontiac; Bertha Martinez of Oregon; Juan G. Martinez of Texas; Larry Martinez of Nebraska; Arnold Martinez of Pontiac; David Martinez of Kentucky; Diana Martinez of Pontiac; Adolph Martinez of New York; and Rudolph Martinez of Pontiac; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
