Angelica Rodriguez, 78, of Colfax, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Arc at Normal. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:00 am, with Fr. Jack Swoik officiating. Burial will take place at Wiley Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Angie was born on August 18th, 1946, in Roma, Texas, the daughter of Tomas Jr. and Francisca (Guerra) Montoya. She married Daniel Rodriguez on July 5th, 1969, in Colfax. He preceded her in death on January 15th, 2016.

Angie is survived by: her daughter, Patty Darnell, of Sherman; grandsons Declan Fuller, of Sherman, Logan Rodriguez, of Colfax; and nine siblings.

Preceding Angie in death are her parents, husband, son and daughter-in-law Danny (Christina) Rodriguez, granddaughter Ayiana Fuller, and three siblings.

In her lifetime, Angie found joy in listening to her beloved Elvis and rooting on her favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
