Obituary
Anna E. Adams, 83 of Chenoa passed away at 11:10 pm, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Heartland Manor Care, Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will hold a private memorial service with a celebration of her life at their family home in Chenoa on Anna's favorite holiday July 4th, 2010. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is assisting the family with arrangements.
Anna was born November 7, 1926 in Chicago; the daughter of William and Evelyn (Olson) Geistlinger. She married William C. Adams Jr. on August 14, 1946 in Pontiac. He survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are her children; Michael Adams, Chesterfield, VA, Randy (Pat) Adams, Normal, Linda (Tom) Trueheart, Normal, Sam (Adelaida) Adams, Kona, HI, two brothers; William Geistlinger, Glen Ellyn, IL, Dennis Geistlinger, Chicago, one sister; Marie Davis, Jellico, TN, Ten grandchildren, 9.5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Anna loved spending time outdoors, tending to her yard. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her sweet gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family suggests that memorials may be directed to Heartland Manor Care, Normal, IL.
