Obituary
Barbara Ann Coyne, 67, Fairbury died at 7:59 am Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Good Samaritan Home, Flanagan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with Pastor Tom Krieger and Fr. Carl LoPresti officiating. Burial will be at 9:30am Wednesday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilman.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggests memorials be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury or to SELCAS.
Barb was born March 19, 1941 in Clifton, the daughter of Russell and Helen Marie Tholen Lambert. She first married Robert Kuhring on December 20, 1958. She then married Thomas Coyne on December 26, 1969. He died on August 20, 2003.
Surviving are two daughters, Celeste (Dean) Hoerner, Pontiac; Jean (Brent) Butler, Ashmore; one brother, Arnold (Sandy) Lambert, Piper City; eight sisters, Betty (Eugene) Krones, Williford, AR, Lois (Tom) Krones, Chenoa, Marcella (Leo) Krones, Lawrence, KS, Sandy (Kenny) Curtis, Calvert City, KY, Shirley Langellier, Martinton, Linda Hensen, Clifton, Sharon (Dave) Wilson, Crete, Carol (John) Hanlon, Gilman; five grandchildren, Amber (Doug) Carls, Flanagan, Brandon and Eric Hoerner, Pontiac, Brandi (Josh) Cummins, Edwardsville, Jacob Butler, Ashmore.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Barb was a beautician for 36 years having owned and operated Barb's Lil' Baer Beauty Shop, Fairbury. She also was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Fairbury
