Obituary
Fairbury: Barbara Ann McReynolds, 76, Fairbury, died 6:47 am Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Fairbury.
A funeral mass will be held 9:30 am Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fairbury with Fr. Scott Archer officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with a rosary to be recited at 4:45 pm.
Mrs. McReynolds was born July 12, 1930 at Killdeer, North Dakota, the daughter of John J. and Margaret DeFea Zimbrick.
Surviving are a son; James McReynolds, Fairbury, a daughter, Maureen McReynolds, Topeka, KS, two grandchildren; Amber and Autumn McReynolds, Fairbury, two brothers; Dr. John D. (Anita) Zimbrick, Ft. Collins, CO, and Robert Zimbrick, Dickinson, North Dakota.
Also surviving are one niece, Liz Navarre, one nephew, David Zimbrick and many cousins.
Barbara had worked at Zimbrick's department store in Killdeer, ND which was owned & operated by her father. She later was employed as a ticket agent for Northwest Airlines at Chicago and Minneapolis. Most recently she had worked in the kitchen at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Barbara was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.
The family suggests memorials be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fairbury.
