Barbara Jean Waddell, 76, Fairbury, died at 3:08 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her daughter's residence, Fairbury.

Mrs. Waddell was born May 22, 1944 in Peoria the daughter of Franklin and Anne Brackett Ford.  She married William C. Waddell in June of 1965.  He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Billie D. (Todd) Steidinger, Fairbury, one son, Eugene F. (Beth) Waddell, Waveland, IN, five grandchildren, Victoria A. Waddell, Hannah, Wyatt, Cora and Gavin Waddell, one step grandson, Jordan (Rachel) Steidinger, and one step great grandson, Jensen Steidinger, and one brother, Lonnie (Patty) Ford, Glasford, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gail L. Ford.

She had been employed at the Mahomet Seymour School District for many years.

Cremation rites will be accorded with inurnment in Riverside Cemetery, Mahomet at a later date.  The family suggests memorials be given to the OSF Hospice East Region, Normal.
