Bernice Lillian Bammann, 83, Beecher, died at 10:10pm Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Beecher with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Bammann was born March 28, 1929 in Forrest, IL the daughter of Martin and Leah Heinold Maurer.
Surviving are two daughters, Francie (Mark) Dunlap, Indian Trail, NC, Eloise Bammann, Villa Park, IL, five grandchildren, four sisters, Lucy (Robert) Zimmerman, Fairbury, IL, Ann (Jack) Clinton, Peoria, IL, Louise (Cliff) Troyer, Florida, Kathryn Steingraber, Pekin, IL, and one brother, Roy (Ann) Maurer, Bloomington, IL.
Mrs. Bammann is preceded in death by two daughters.
Mrs. Bammann was a retired guidance counselor at Thornwood High School, South Holland, IL and formerly owned and operated Apple Tree Clothing and Antiques, Crete, IL.
