Obituary
Betty Bernice Bittner, 82 of Fairbury, passed away at 2:55 am, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Apostolic Christian Church of Fairbury with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Thursday at the church.
Betty was born December 21, 1930 in Fairbury the daughter of Samuel and Lydia (Zimmerman) Bittner. Her parents and one sister in-law, Ruth Bittner preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers; Wayne (LaVerne) Bittner and Merle Bittner both of Fairbury; four sisters, Cynthia (Clyde) Donelson of Marion, IL; Emma (Peter) Schaffer, Jean Bittner and Darlene Bittner all of Fairbury.
Miss Bittner was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Fairbury.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury or the charity of the donor's choice.
