Fisher – Bill Fairfield, 65, of Fisher, passed away at 3:15pm, April 6, 2018, at his residence.

Cremation has been accorded and private family services are being held.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family. They will be making these donations to various organizations that meant something to Bill.

Bill was born July 25, 1952, in Gibson City, the son of Donald and Sue Ellen Nelson Fairfield.

Surviving are his father, Don of Foosland; children, Molly and Billy Fairfield both of Fisher; brothers, Greg (Mitzie) Fairfield of Foosland and Phil Fairfield of Ocala, FL; sister, Holly Fairfield of Fisher; niece, Georgia (David) Litman of Foosland; and nephew, Dylan (Angie) Fairfield of Carbondale.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandma Mary Fairfield.

Bill was a well know roofer in the Fisher area because of his knowledge and expertise.

He also took pride and loved being a part of the family farm. His love of the farm brought him a love for horses as well.

When not working Bill enjoyed traveling.

Bill's life was most richly blessed by his two children who were the apple of his eye, his everything.
