Billy G. Goad, 75, Pontiac and formerly of Scott City, MO died at 4:31 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Woodridge of Pontiac Supportive Living Residence, Pontiac.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury with Pastor Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggest memorials be given to the American Diabetes Association.

Mr. Goad was born April 9, 1939 in Advance, MO the son of William L. and Mary Dae Litteral Goad.

Survivors include his children, Donna Hammond, Pontiac, IL, Eddie (Sue) Goad, Fairbury, IL, Kimberly (Ron) Hammond, Colorado Springs, CO, Todd Goad and Shawn Goad, both of Paducah, KY, three sisters, Wanda Rambo, Pontiac, IL, Judy Colclasure, Freemont, IN, Karen Coakley, New Lenox, IL, two brothers, Ed Goad, Paris,TN, Marvin Goad, St. Louis, MO, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters, one son, and one grandson.

Mr. Goad had been a self employed truck driver.
