Obituary
Strawn: Brandon W. Tjarks, 15 of Strawn, died 10:29 pm Friday, June 22, 2007 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City, IL.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Fairbury with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating. Burial will take place in Strawn Cemetery, Strawn, IL.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:30 to 10:15am Wednesday at the church prior to service.
Brandon was born December 18, 1991 at Gibson City, IL, the son of Jody and Tina (Bauman) Tjarks. They survive in Strawn.
Also surviving is one sister: Brittiany Tjarks, Strawn, maternal grandparents; Steve and Norma Bauman, Strawn, paternal grandparents; Russ and Jane Tjarks, Sibley.
Brandon had attended Prairie Central High School, Fairbury. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, demo derbies, football, 4 wheeling & farming with his dad. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his friends and family who will miss him deeply.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Brandon W. Tjarks Memorial Fund or the Prairie Central FFA.
