Forrest – Brenda Fitzpatrick, 78, of Forrest, passed away at 5:25 am, March 12, 2026, at her residence.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Pastor Daryl Evans will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 12-1:00 pm on Tuesday also at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Livingston County Humane Society or First Baptist Church of Fairbury.

Brenda was born July 17, 1947, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of James and Kathryn Boling Brown. She married Richard Fitzpatrick on July 8, 1989. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Kathy Vannarath and Colleen Cook both of Champaign; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Timothy Brown and Maria Brown both of Urbana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairbury.

Brenda had a big heart for animals. She especially loved her precious cats.
