Forrest – Carol Sue Haab, 80, of Forrest went to be with Jesus at 4:26pm, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Fairview Haven Retirement Home.

A celebration of her life service will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Living Word Church, Roberts. Burial will be in Forrest Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm, Monday, November 24, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.

Memorials may be made to Living Word church, Fairview Haven Retirement Home, or OSF Hospice.

Carol Sue was born March 9, 1934, in Forrest the daughter of Philip and Mathilda Lehmann Rieger. They preceded her in death.

She married Robert L. Haab on September 27, 1953. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert K. (Kathy) of Forrest and Mark (Kim) of Fairbury; three daughters, Nancy (Joe) Lane of Bloomington, Kay (Ryan) Shiflett of Fairbury and Gail (Gary) Marten of Tulsa, OK; four grandsons, Brad (Ashley) Haab, Nathan Haab, Joey Lane, and Connor Haab; five granddaughters, Rebekah (Brandon) Wescott, Abby and Rachel Marten, Emily Shiflett and McKenna Haab; two great-grandsons, Avery and Falcon Haab; two step-granddaughters, Bridgette Alexander and Michele Clark and their families; brother, Keith (Bev) Rieger of Bloomington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carol Sue was a member of Living Word Church in Roberts and graduated in 1952 from Forrest Strawn Wing High School. She did office work for Honeggers and Co., Fairbury Hospital, Phillip Physical Therapy, Forrest Schools and Crossroad Crating.
