Colfax – Carol Jean Hauge Manahan, 89, of Colfax, passed away at 9:38am, October 12, 2022, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax. Pastor Wendell Wardell will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:45pm, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Memorials may be made to LeRoy Ambulance Association.

Carol was born December 22, 1932, in Minooka, the daughter of Austin Edward and Agnes (Everson) Hauge. She married Merritt Hyle Manahan in June of 1977. He passed away in 1987.

Surviving are step-daughters, Connie (Ed) Eades of Cooksville and Bonnie (Norman) Bradford of Cross Plaines, WI; sister, Charlotte Hitchens of Mahomet; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Aldora Hauge Hextell and Roberta Hauge; and brother, Marvin Hauge.

Carol was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. Carol was an elementary school teacher at Cooksville, Anchor, and Colfax Schools.
