Chenoa: Carol Louise Zubeck, 71, of Chenoa and formerly of Cooksville died at 9:07 PM, Monday, May 29, 2006 at OSF St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
Mrs. Zubeck was born June 19, 1934 in Bloomington, IL the daughter to Harvey O. and Maurine (Glover) Weber. She married Norbert F. Zubeck in Lincoln, IL. He Survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are 1 Daughter, Tanie M. (Scott) Sherman, Scottsdale, AZ, 1 Son, Michael J. Zubeck, Glendale, AZ, 6 Grandchildren, Lia, Sara, Jesse and Lacey Zubeck all of Glendale, AZ, and Nathan & Allison Sherman of Scottsdale, AZ., 1 Brother, W.H. (Mary) Weber, LeRoy, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 Brother, Jack Weber.
Private Family services will be held in Arizona at a later date. Local arrangements are being handled by Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
Carol Louise was a Graduate of Octavia H.S. and received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Illinois State University. Carol was a Language Arts teacher at Octavia Jr. High School for 29 years, and retired from teaching in 1988.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to The American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Peoria, IL.
