Carolyn Carls, 78, of Fairbury, passed away at 12:45pm, September 16, 2021, at Accolade Healthcare in Pontiac.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services.

Memorials may be made to the Carolyn Carls Family.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born January 28, 1943, in Pontiac the daughter of Charles and Jenni Harrison McCoy.

She married Larry Carls on June 27, 1963, in Pontiac. He died December 1, 2017.

Surviving are her children, Todd Carls of Fairbury, Theresa (Barry) Chavez of Pontiac, Troy (Anna) Carls of Fairbury, and Tammi Kupferschmidt of Fairbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Karleigh Small and grandson, Cory Small.

Carolyn worked for more than 20 years for Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury. During that time, she worked in Dietary and Laundry.
