Carolyn M. Lade , 83 of Chatsworth, died at 7:50pm, Monday, December 21, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Private family burial will take place in Chatsworth City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church of Fairbury, Chatsworth First Responders - Fire Department or SELCAS.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, has charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born December 11, 1937 in Elkton, KY, a daughter of Walton and Mabel Robinson Tooley.  Her parents preceded her in death.  She married Donald Lade on October 6, 1956 in Pontiac.  He survives in Chatsworth.

Other survivors include her daughters, Ronda (Larry) Ellinger of Sherman; Robin (Rick) Hardesty of Bloomington; and Renee (Jay) McDonald of Fairbury; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline (Glen) Iler of Bloomington; Noreen (Harold) Hand of Peoria, Patricia (Randy) Dempsey of Conroe, TX; two brothers, Jimmy (Kay) Tooley of Val Paraiso, IN and Jerry (June) Tooley of Phoenix, AZ.

She was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Rusti Lee Lade, three brothers, Edward, Robert and David Tooley.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and reading.  She was a dedicated wife and mother and cherished time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
