Obituary
Carroll C. Bandy 88, of Chenoa formerly of Raymond, IL passed away at 4:30 am, Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, May 6, 2011 in St. Raymond Cemetery, Raymond, IL. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chenoa with Father Carl LoPresti officiating.
Carroll was born November 4, 1922 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Charles and Ivy (Judge) Roberts. She married Elmer H. Bandy on September 7, 1940 in Litchfield, IL. He passed away April 9, 1993.
Survivors include two children, Jane (Paul) Leder of Glen Ellyn, IL; Dr. John (Debbie) Bandy of Normal; grandchildren, Dr. David (Cindy) Leder, Boston, MA; Alex, Luke and Ben Roth all of Normal; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Ruth Anderson, Irma Bosen, Dorothy Bray, and one granddaughter, Suzanne Leder.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge Rd., Chicago, IL 60660 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa, IL.
