Obituary
Catelyn Louise Haas, 1 month old daughter of Jeremy E. and Michelle S (Kidd) Haas of Pontiac died at 3:20 pm Monday, July 18, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Children's Hospital, Peoria.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, July 22, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial will take place at Avoca Twp. Cemetery, rural Fairbury. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am Friday also at the memorial home.
Catelyn was born on June 23, 2011 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. The little sister to Clara Dean Haas, Chancey Jeremiah Haas, and Jacob "JJ" Haas (deceased). She was the granddaughter of John and Edna Haas, Jimmy and Audrey Hetherington of Fairbury and James and Janet Kidd of Syracuse, NY. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
She is preceded in death by her brother "JJ" and one cousin, Tyler Mueller.
Even though our daughter will not be with us here she will be with her brother "JJ" as our second little angel in Jesus' arms. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Neonatal Department at the Children's Hospital in Peoria. We were continually amazed at their wisdom and dedication to helping our child and their loving and tender touch. We were truly blessed during our stay with them.
The family suggests memorials be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Department at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.
