Catherine L. Cash, 86 of Fairbury, passed away at 10:04 am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her residence in Fairbury.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a private family inurnment in Mississippi at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of services.

Catherine was born August 6, 1931 in Steens, Mississippi; the daughter of Albert B. and Eunice Mae (Cline) Logan. She married Richard Gene Cash on May 7, 1948 in Columbus, Mississippi.  He died on November 16, 1987.  Her parents, 1 brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Athena Carol (Gary) Hansen and Cynthia (Victor) Cash-Kindelberger both of Fairbury; two brothers, Paul (Shirley) Logan of Hamilton, AL; Thomas (Eleanor) Logan of Tuscaloosa, AL; one sister, June (Clayton) James of Columbus, MS; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Catherine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Fairbury.  She was loved by all and will be truly missed.
