Charles R. "Bob" Regenold, 74, Chenoa died at 3:10 am Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Meadows Mennonite Nursing Home, Chenoa.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Chenoa Baptist Church with Pastor Christian Ricker officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa and 9:30 to 10:15 am Wednesday at the church. The family suggests memorials be given to Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Mr. Regenold was born February 7, 1936 in Chenoa, IL the son of Charles E. and Ruby L. Martin Regenold. He married Ethel Henline on November 16, 1954 in Pontiac, IL. She survives in Chenoa.

Also surviving are five daughters, Deborah (Charles) Kiblinger, Goodfield, IL, Rebecca (Mitchell) Griffin, Bend, OR, Sandra (Louis) Burger, Chenoa, IL, Robin (Frank) Cipolletti, Gurnee, IL, Jennifer (Chris) Sims, Noblesville, IN, four sons, Michael (Ming) Regenold, Chenoa, IL, Joseph (Debra) Regenold, Flanagan, IL, John (Anita) Regenold, Pontiac, IL, Richard (Teresa) Regenold, Jackson, MI, twenty two grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three grandchildren.

He was a member of the Chenoa Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher, deacon and choir member.

He was retired from R. R. Donnelly in Dwight. He also attended Clown College in Wisconsin and performed as Clydie the Clown at many functions. He was a member of the Chief City Swingers square dance club. He favored the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed riding his horse, Red. He served in the Illinois National Guard. For the past two years he has been a resident at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community.
