Obituary
Charles Edward Dearth, 85, Hope, IN formerly of Chenoa, IL died at 11:35 am Monday, April 2, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor, Hope, IN.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Chenoa Cemetery with the Rev. Carrie Carnes officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dearth was born May 10, 1926 in Chenoa, IL the son of Homer and Garnett Stephenson Dearth. He married Verla Brucker. She survives in Columbus, IN.
Other survivors include one son, John Edward (Susan) Dearth, Las Vegas, NV, two grandsons, Jay (Katie) Dearth, Columbus, OH, Scott Dearth, USMC Camp Lejeune, NC, two great grandsons, Johnathan and Charlie Dearth, and one sister, Mary Degenhart, Washington, IL.
The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
