Charles Edward Ward, 71, Fairbury, died at 9:30 am Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his residence, Fairbury.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Chuck was born September 17, 1948 in Fairbury, IL the son of Edward Wesley and Lila Garmon Ward.  He married Joyce Losh on March 3, 1981 in Normal.  She survives in Fairbury.

Other survivors include his children, Andy Ward, Nathan Ward and Renee Ward, two brothers, Robert (Delores) Ward, John (Tammy) Ward, one sister, Beverly Ward, and six grandchildren, Taylor Lynn, Gage Alexander, Michael Logan, and Autumn Wyrick, Titan and Teirea Ward.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Chucky Ward.

Chuck was a graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After the war he worked and later retired from Nussbaum Trucking, Fairbury.
