Colfax – Charles L. "Chuck" McKinney, 76, of Colfax, passed away at 3:33am, May 12, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, May 17, 2019, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Bill Brown will be officiating.

Inurnment will be in Anchor Township Cemetery.

Friends may greet the family from 10-12:00pm, also on Friday at the funeral home.

Chuck was born January 6, 1943, in Normal, the son of Theodore and Bessie Bagy McKinney.

He married Judy Kerber.

Surviving are his significant other, Carol Hereford of Colfax; three daughters, Rhonda (John) Brehm of Carmel, IN, Cindy (Jim) Groth of Colfax, and Cathy (Kevin) Payne of Lexington; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his devoted dog, Zoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Chuck was a Certified Chevrolet Mechanic. He worked for over 20 years at Doyle Oil in Ellsworth.

Chuck was an avid NASCAR fan and loved tinkering in his garage.
