Obituary
Charles "Chuck" O. Barton Jr., 46, Chatsworth died at 1:06 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with the Rev. Charles McDonald officiating. Inurnment will take place in Chatsworth Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Chuck was born January 10, 1964 in St. Louis, MO a son of Charles Sr. and Jean (Chatman-Garza) Barton.
Chuck was raised and lived in the St. Louis area before moving to Chatsworth in 1989.
He was a stay at home dad who loved classic rock music and watching wrestling on TV.
He is survived by four children, Tiffani, Elizabeth, Alice and Brett all of Chatsworth; four sisters, Jeanne (Gerald) Tauberschmidt, Angie McCure, both of Chatsworth, Kathy (Steve) Gibbs, Mascoutah, IL, Kim (Eddie) Bequette, Florida, five brothers, John Barton, Chatsworth, Rick (Jessica) Garza, Pontiac, Joe (Rayanne) Hicks, Florida, Dwayne (Sandy) Hicks, Bellville, and Keith (Kathryn) Barton, Georgia, his father, Charles Sr. (Connie) Barton, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Poncho Garza, and one niece.
