Obituary
Fairbury – Charles T. Russell, 73, of Fairbury, passed away at 10:21am, Friday, December 28, 2012 at his residence.
Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Gigs Place in Fairbury.
Charles was born February 11, 1939 in Deering, MO the son of Charles T. and Ludi Huckabee Russell. He married Patsy Vance on September 29, 1973 in Joliet. She survives.
Also surviving are his children; Vera (Eddie) Fonseca of Joliet, Randy (Diane) Christenson of Custer Park, Lori (Jim) Rusthoven of Strawn, and Cara Russell of Fairbury; grandchildren; Tyler, Desiree, Dawson, Wyatt, Eric, Nathan, Brandy, Keith, Charles, and Catherine; great-grandchildren,; Jon,Jr., Kyle, Andrew, Alexandria, Sierra, Natalie, Arianna, Jared, and Jace; and sister, Jimmie sue Powers of TN.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Charles retired after 30 years from Caterpillar Tractor Company. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists.
Memorials may be made to the family.
