Charles Edward Winslow, 76 of Fairbury, passed away at 5:37 pm, Monday, August 13, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be a memorial service at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. An Inurnment will follow the service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 pm also on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home in Fairbury.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Charles E. Winslow.

Chuck was born March 25, 1942 in Fairbury; a son to William and Erna (Schuler) Winslow.  He married Faye Ann Kirk on July 14, 1980 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Chatsworth.  His wife, Faye preceded him in death February 5, 2005.

Survivors include one daughter, Ann Marie Winslow of Fredrick, MD; one step-son, Charles L. Rogers of Fredrick, MD; one daughter-in-law, Ronni Rogers of Frederick, MD, and one brother, James Winslow of Bowling Green, OH.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William Winslow, Thomas Winslow, and two sisters, Patricia Ann Campbell and Carol Barry.

Chuck was a graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School and later was employed by the Department of Corrections, Pontiac; where he served as a correctional officer.
