Obituary
Clara Trickey, 78 of Colfax, formerly of Keyesport, IL; died at 8:24pm, Friday, July 8, 2016, at her son's residence in Colfax.
Cremation rites have been accorded per her request. A private family service is planned for a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Clara's sons, James or Marshall Erwin.
Clara was born January 22, 1938, in Keyesport the daughter Chester and Opal (Hubbard) Miller. She first married Jack Erwin and later married Scott Trickey on August 9, 1982 in Keyesport, IL. He passed away on January 9, 2010. Her parents and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, James Erwin and Marshall (Shannon) Erwin both of Colfax; five grandchildren, Steven (Megan) Erwin, AJ, Kendra, Jayci and Jackson Erwin, 3 great grandchildren, Raylee, Scott and Brayden Erwin, two brothers, Rob (Carrie)Miller of Brownstown, IL; and Charles (Lola) Miller of Keyesport, IL.
Clara loved quilting, crocheting and cooking but most of all loved being with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and talking with her life-long friends, Gene and Peggy Harter.
