Laymon Clinton Denham, 91, Pontiac and formerly of Fairbury, died at 4:20 am Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.

His funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:00 am Saturday also at the memorial home.  The family suggests memorials be given to the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.

Clinton was born November 24, 1926 in Tompkinsville, KY the son of Leonard Guy and Mary Liza Humes Denham.  He married Dorothy Rice on April 29, 1951 in Fairbury.  She survives in Pontiac.

Other survivors include one daughter, Linda Denham, Pontiac; three grandchildren, Michelle (Justin) Besancon, Wauconda, IL; Eric (Missy) Hoover, Jennifer Hoover, both of Pontiac and five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by two daughters, Lois Hoover, Karen Denham and two step brothers.

Clinton enjoyed camping and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.
