Cody was born October 15, 1984 in Normal; the son of Mervin and Beth (Trachsel) Huddleston. His mother survives in Chenoa and his father survives in Pontiac.
Other survivors include one sister, Dacia (Jose) Perez of Pontiac; his special niece and nephew, Kendall and Ethan Perez both of Pontiac; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Jeannette Trachsel and Marvin and Norma Huddleston.
Cody enjoyed being with his friends working on his high performance Mustang at Chucks Body Shop in Pontiac. He had a love for "Big Boy Toys", Harley Davidson Motorcycles, notch-back Mustangs and snowmobiles. Tinkering in the garage on anything with a motor is where you could find him. Cody had a "need for speed" and lived life to its fullest.
