Obituary
Daisy E. Raby, 75 of Chenoa passed away at 12:07 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2010 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service to be held at 7 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Rick Tindall officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 pm, prior to the service also at the memorial home in Chenoa on Thursday.
Daisy was born April 29, 1934 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Florence (Stover) Large. She married Carl Raby on April 9, 1955 in Springfield, IL. He survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are five children; David Raby, Chenoa, Debbie Fultz, Pontiac, William Raby, Pontiac, Michael (Pam Kester) Raby, Normal, Kathy (Troy Ricketts) Farrell, Fairbury, one sister; Laura Nichols, Pontiac, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and one son; Robert Raby.
Memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Daisy loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. She was a great wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
