Forrest – Dale Wayne Fosdick of Forrest, passed away following a sudden illness on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.

Funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 24, 2010 a First Baptist Church in Fairbury. Pastor Greg Hollandburg will be officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Township Cemetery, Forrest.

Visitation will be held from 5-8:00pm on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Dale was born February 23, 1962 the son of Sylvester and Beverly Fritts Fosdick. They survive in Forrest.

Also surviving are one son, Logan Michael Fosdick of Forrest; sister, Sharon (Randal) Kinzinger of Buckley; three brothers, Larry (Julia) of Pontiac, Harry (Lisa) of Chenoa, and Tim (Brenda) of Pekin; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dale was a 1980 graduate of Forrest Stawn Wing High School.

He worked as a machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Company.
He was a member of the Local 974 United Auto Workers Union.

Dale was an aviation and muscle car enthusiast.
Dale loved God and his family. He was a beloved son, father, brother and uncle who will be missed dearly.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to a fund for his son's education established at First State Bank of Forrest.
