Obituary
Dale E. Ifft, 80, Fairbury, died at 9:40 pm July 3, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A private service will be held July 7, 2017 with ministers of the German Apostolic Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in East Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Mr. Ifft was born June 1, 1937 in Fairbury the son of George and Martha Hoffman Ifft Jr. He married Violet M. Grosshans on December 28, 1969 in Fairbury. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2017.
Survivors include three sisters, Emma Lou Ott, Peoria; Marlene Elliott, Cropsey; Jane (Carl) Jensen, Silverton, OR; two brothers, Roger (Janice) Ifft and Jim (Julie) Ifft, both of Fairbury.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Warren Ifft and one sister, Elaine Kuenzie.
Mr. Ifft was a lifetime farmer and a member of the German Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
