Dale "Brad" Steven Mowery, 58, Fairbury died at 1:24 am Sunday, July 29, 2007 at his residence, Fairbury.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Wednesday at the church.

Dale was born June 18, 1949 at Fairbury, IL, the son of James "Russell" and Rosella Von Bergen Mowery. He married Elaine L. Steidinger December 4, 1987 at Pontiac, IL she survives at Fairbury. Also surviving are three sons, Lance Dale, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, Brent Lyle and Chase Eli, both at home, his mother Rosella Mowery, Fairbury, one sister, June (Ron) Slagel, Fairbury and one brother, Lyle (Gladys) Mowery, St. Paul, MN. Also surviving is Adam Gray, Ft. Drum, NY who he loved like a son.

He is preceded in death by his father, one niece, Diane Mueller, and one nephew, Chad Welborn.

Dale was a 1967 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School. He had been a truck driver and heavy equipment operator until his illness. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.

The family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury of OSF St. James Hospice, Pontiac.
