Obituary
Colfax – Daniel W. Kindred, 40, of Colfax, passed away at 6:15pm, May 12, 2016, at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
His funeral will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Fr. Carl LoPresti will be officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saybrook.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a memorial fund established in his children's names at People State Bank of Colfax.
Dan was born May 15, 1975 in Gibson City, the son of Dale and Suzanne Migas Kindred.
Surviving are his mother, Suzanne Kindred of LeRoy; father, Dale (Elizabeth) Kindred of Atlanta; son, Nathaniel Kindred of Colfax; daughters, Alexandrea and Claire Kindred of Colfax; paternal grandmother, Ada Kindred; brothers, Scott (Kim) Kindred of Colfax and Tom (Sheri) Kindred of Downs; and sister, Meghann Kindred of Atlanta.
Dan worked for F.E. Wheaton in Yorkville and last worked for the Colfax Pot Ash Plant.
Dan was an avid Yankees and Star Wars fan.
He was a devoted and loving father that truly put his children first. They were the loves of his life.
