Darren was born on December 2, 1961 in Gibson City, the son of Ronald Greenlee and Shirley (Hall) Foster. He is preceded in death by his father. His mother survives in Chenoa.
He is survived by his son, Diesel Greenlee, his siblings; Dee Bohler, Diane Trembley, and Dana Craig. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Darren recently retired after a long career as a heavy crane operator. His favorite moments were spent coaching and watching Diesel play high school football. He was a man of remarkable skill, there wasn't a car or motor he couldn't repair. More than a skilled technician, he was a walking toolbox, he didn't have one of every tool, he had 3 or 4 of them. Always there to lend a hand to a neighbor or a stranger on the side of the road. He possessed a warm heart and unwavering love for his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing the impact he made will never be forgotten.
