David Jon Mowery Jr., 29, Bloomington, died at 1:01 pm Friday, August 17, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

His visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2018 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  Inurnment will be 11:00 am Friday, August 31, 2018 at Avoca Twp. Cemetery, rural Fairbury.

David was born December 21, 1988 in Pontiac, IL the son of David Jon and Shirley McCarty Mowery Sr.

Survivors include two sisters, Sasha Hack, Fairbury, Angela J. (Josh) Schroeder, Lexington, one brother, Jason D. Mowery, Heyworth, best friend, Jamie Johnson, seven nieces and nephews, Dillon, Destyni and Lyric Mowery, Alexa, Marki and Kolee Schroeder, Gadge Hack.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Riley Mowery.
