Obituary
Dawn Lorraine Engel, 38, Fairbury died at 4:45 pm Friday, November 28, 2008 at OSF St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Christian Fellowship Church, 715 W. Lincoln Avenue, Pontiac, IL.
Mrs. Engel was born June 11, 1970 in Decatur, IL the daughter of George and Sharon Lorraine Backstein Workman. She married Alan B. Engel in Fairbury. He survives.
Also surviving are her four children, Robert, Richard, Kayla & Kady; her mother, Sharon L. Backstein, Pontiac; father, George Workman, New Orleans, LA; one sister, Teri Jo Backstein, San Marcos, CA; maternal grandfather, Richard Backstein, Decatur, IL; and best friend, Jackie.
