Fairbury: Dawn R. Steidinger, 52, of Fairbury, died at 12:50 P.M., Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Meadows Mennonite Home in rural Chenoa.
Visitation is from 9:45 to 10:45 am, Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with an 11 am graveside service at South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Fairbury with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating the services.
Dawn was born October 11, 1955 in Fairbury, the daughter of Richard F. and Janet L. (Hofmann) Steidinger. Her parents survive her in Fairbury.
Also surviving are one brother; Mark (Pam Chandler) Steidinger, Pontiac, three sisters; Tami (Bill Phillips) Livingston, Bloomington, Lori (John) Hobart, Pontiac, Jill (Randy) McCulloh, Chenoa and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Martin Luther Home, Pontiac, IL. Or Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa.
The family would like to thank all the staff over the years that took good care of Dawn and loved her like family especially to BroMenn Social Services and Hospice, Doctor's Gerardo Greico, and Dirck Curry, Joe Piller Physicians Assistant and Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa for her special care in her final days. Dawn was a special person which touched the lives of all who knew her special spirit. We were blessed to have her in our lives.
