Chenoa - Dean A. Nagel, 78 of Chenoa died at 1:52 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his residence in Chenoa.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to the Chenoa Food Pantry, Chenoa. A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.

Dean was born November 27, 1943 in Bloomington; the son of Virgil and Virginia (Dale) Nagel. His parents and one brother, Dale Nagel preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristina (Martin) Welchel of Kappa; two sons, Brad Nagel of Flanagan; Brian (Tina) Nagel of Eureka; one brother, Fred (Cecelia) Nagel, of Chenoa; one sister, Ruth Ann (Dale) Rapp of Gridley; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Dean was a graduate of Chenoa High School and served our country in the US Navy.  He was employed at Union Roofing Inc., Chenoa for over 30 years. His quiet nature and passion for Late Model racing and Harley Davidson motorcycles will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
