Cooksville – DeLoris S. Stroh, 68, of Cooksville passes away July 17, 2008 at 8:55 p.m. at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2008 from 4-7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. A funeral will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Stephen Goodwin will be officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Anchor.DeLoris was born September 5, 1939 in Sturgeon, MO the daughter of Ruby Waller and Alma Gladys Bagley Sexton. They preceded her in death. She married Duane Stroh on September 1, 1973 in McDowell. He survives.Also surviving are step-daughter, Julie (Greg) Tarter of Hopedale; step-grandchildren, Morgan, Holly and Tonya Tarter; sister, Lynda Neubauer of Pontiac; brother, Roy Lee (Karen) Sexton of Mackinaw; nieces, Annette (Ty) Schopp of Southaven, MS and Kris (Craig) Ziller of Fairbury; nephew Michael Sexton of NV. She was preceded in death by one brother Norman Sexton.DeLoris was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor and was a on the Cooksville Village Board for 20 years.She was a daycare provider for more than 25 years and will be greatly missed by all, especially Rachel and Lauren McCleod.DeLoris had a passion for Longaberger Baskets and George Strait.
