Dennis A. Johnson, 70, of Fairbury, passed away on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at Allure of Galesburg Nursing Facility. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Dennis was born October 24, 1954, in Fairbury, the son of Earl and Pauline (Hakes) Johnson. He attended Fairbury-Cropsey High School.

He is survived by his brother, Greg Johnson, of Streator, and his uncles, Larry Hakes, of Normal, and Richard Hakes, of Fairbury. He is also survived by many cousins.

Dennis is preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Miles and Kenny Johnson, and his aunt Ruth Luttrell, who along with his mother, Pauline, cared for him for many years.

Memorial donations in Dennis' name may be left to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
